Achievement
“I have achieved something that I never
Thought I could achieve”, a text from an old
Friend. How does one respond to that? Just how?
For some of us, every single moment,
Every single day, that we are still here,
Is an achievement. Not that we do not
Try. Look at that rope, looks ready, has
Been so for some time, willing to receive.
Look at that blade, it has been itching to
Do what it does best. But we are still here,
Standing, unsure, unready. Will it ever
Be that time? A time when achievements are
Past? Or should we continue to achieve?
