The Sun Worshipper

Anytime from dawn

till dusk as long as

it offers a view

of the regal orb.

Her daily ritual:

pauses and stands

on her secret sacred

ground (soil wet

with gasoline spill),

gazes at the sky

and dreams

of oneness

with lit cigarette

in her hand.
